Win symbols in Pyramid: Quest for Immortality are separated into different tiers. The first tier consists of clay tablets inscribed with letters. The next tier fields coloured tablets with commonly known mystic symbols like scarabs or vipers. The highest tier or win symbols are the beautifully rendered pharaohs, both with considerably higher multipliers than any of the symbols of the previous tiers.
Another thing that makes this slot so unique is the configuration of its reels. Rather than having the same number of fields for every reel, the centre reel offers the most fields with 5, compared to the standard 3 for the outermost reels. Since there are not win lines as such, the game instead detects if matching symbols appear on reels next to each other. Wild symbols – golden ankhs – are key for all bonus features in this online slot. They can substitute for all other win symbols when it comes to completing a winning combination. Regular symbols can transform into Wilds if they land on the topmost fields of reels 2, 3 and 4 and are part of a winning combination in that round. Should this be the case, then they do not disappear before the next round, but instead remain on those fields while being transformed into Wilds.
As soon as this happens you will automatically trigger the Avalanche mode. The reels will drop spinning and symbols will instead drop in from the top, stacking on top of each other. Should symbols then form winning combinations, then they may explode and make way for additional symbols in subsequent rounds.Every three consecutive avalanches your avalanche multiplier will increase by 1, up to a maximum of 10. This multiplier will automatically be applied to every win you score during these special avalanche rounds until winning combinations stop occurring.
