Playing Lightning Storm

Ever wanted to build your own monster but afraid of your emission footprint? Lightning Storm lets you harness the power of thunderstorms to construct and bring to life ghastly monsters and potential huge multipliers across several different game modes. These game modes each are presented in their own way, with game hosts awaiting instructions in all sorts of laboratories. Lightning Storm is a lot of things, but it’s especially unique compared to other live game shows!

Getting the machine started

Initially, all players have to do is pick their number, or the leaf, and watch as the host spins the wheel. Once the wheel is in motion, up to 20 random bonus symbols will be assigned to segments of the wheel.

Activating the Storm Chaser bet will have a special bet chip mark that spot for everyone to see. If the wheel stops with that number segment being picked, then the Lightning Storm bonus round will be triggered for the player in question. Bets on that slot and the bonus bet are added up and paid out accordingly.

The random bonus symbols cause the segments to apply a multiplier ranging from 2x to 50x to the bets landing on those symbols.

Placing a bet on the X Chaser spot on the betting board will ensure the top spots with bonus symbols will be picked for a bet automatically.

Lightning Storm outcomes

Once the wheel stops wherever the flapper at the top comes to a stop will always deliver a particular outcome:

• A field with a leaf on it will result in a direct payout. Refer to the in-game menu to see possible prizes updated in real time.
• A numbered segment with bonus symbols on it will play the bonus round immediately thereafter. Accumulated bonus multipliers from that round will be added on top of the regular payout.

All players part of the lobby can watch the bonus games being played out, while only players who actually bet on those segments will get to participate.

Lightning Storm Hot Spot

In Hot Spot a giant multiplier wall will be erected, with the game host to the side waiting for instructions.

• Available multipliers will be shown on tiles in order, then turned around and shuffled.
• Players can then pick a tile and flip it over, revealing its multiplier.
• A 3x3 cursor will then appear, searching for a corresponding 3x3 of tiles to flip. Should that 3x3 cursor select the tile previously picked, then the bonus multiplier awarded will be doubled.
• This method allows for multipliers of up to 10.000x to be applied to players’ bets.

Lightning Storm Monster Mash

In this bonus mode players get to design their own monsters and enjoy the various multipliers these creations might offer.

• Three horizontal reels will host different body parts - heads, torsos and legs.
• Each of these parts will field their own multiplier.
• Regular multipliers will only affect their own configuration, while global multipliers will boost all multipliers on screen.
• The game host will pull the lever and set the reels in motion. Once those reels stop, the resulting monster will award all multipliers associated with its parts.
• Multipliers can compound quickly - the maximum possible multiplier possible is 10.000x

Lightning Storm Battery Charger

Here the live game host will start a conveyor belt with batteries of different sizes on it.

• Nine batteries will reward a regular multiplier, while one battery offers a global one.
• Batteries will drop onto the Charger one by one, with a little wheel determining whether their multiplier will be awarded or whether the battery overheats.
• The global multiplier will double all batteries’ worth if that battery get charged correctly.

Lightning Storm Fireball

In this minigame the game show host will drop a ball onto a pit with 149 multiplier pockets.

• A ball landing in a pocket with a regular multiplier will have that multiplier be your multiplier for the round.
• A pocket with a double multiplier means all other pockets will be doubled in value and the ball will be launched again.
• This pattern may repeat until a maximum multiplier of 10.000x is reached.

There is one rule in place affecting all these bonus modes in Lightning Storm

If a bonus game segment receives a bonus multiplier on its segment on the big wheel, then all regular multiplier slots of that bonus game mode are multiplied by that modifier before the bonus feature starts.

The Final Stage: Harness the powerful lightning storm!

Players will now head to the roof of the laboratory and attempt to harness lightning to their advantage. A gigantic billboard with bonus multipliers will be struck three times by lightning.

One of the results of that strike can be selected, the bonus multiplier will be applied to your overall payout. Lightning will also jump from grid to grid, activating several multipliers in quick succession.

That way a mix of regular and global multipliers can be activated and further modify payouts. Similar to other bonus features in this game, multipliers here can also be affected by the type of prize won during the regular round when this feature was activated first.
