Microgaming's Switch studios brings us a clean, simple, single-hand European Blackjack game for all the Blackjack purists out there.
Played with 2 regular decks, this game does away with the multiple seats, surrender options & side bets and focuses on the main part of the game which we know and love.
Of course the fundamentals are always there, such as being able to double down on hard 9, 10 and 11's or taking insurance when the dealer is showing that dreaded Ace.
As always, splitting is an option when you have two cards of the same value BUT don't forget that when it comes to cards with the value of ten, they have to be alike. In other words, a 10 & J or K & Q will NOT offer the option to split even though they are the same value.
Game Payouts
For those of you new to Blackjack, this version keeps it clean and simple. The payouts are:
Blackjacks pay 3:2
Standard wins pay 1:1
Insurance wins pay 2:1
A blackjack is when you are dealt an Ace and another card with a value of 10 (as your first two cards). This totals 21 and pays 3:2.
