Traditional football clubs — from the Premier League down through many European domestic leagues — maintain professional EA FC rosters, with players competing under club banners in national and international tournaments.

EA FC match format:

1v1 (most common) — two players each control a full team in a standard football match
2v2 — two-player coop, each pair controlling a team
Pro Clubs 11v11 — each player controls a single virtual player, teams of 11 face off (newer competitive format)
Match length — halves are usually 6 or 8 minutes each in competitive play (not the 45-minute halves of the "real" game)

League of Legends (LoL) — the biggest esport globally

Riot Games' League of Legends is a 5v5 MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) played on a symmetrical map with three lanes and a jungle. Each team of five picks unique champions, and the objective is to destroy the enemy Nexus — a base structure at the far end of the map — by pushing lanes, taking towers, and controlling neutral objectives (Dragons, Baron Nashor).

Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) — the tactical FPS

Valve's Counter-Strike 2 is a 5v5 tactical shooter where two teams (Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists) alternate offensive and defensive roles over rounds, with the objective being either to plant/defuse a bomb or eliminate the opposing team. Games are played to first-to-13 rounds with overtime rules.

Live esports betting tips

Watch pistol rounds in CS2 and Valorant. The team winning the opening pistol round of each half often builds a 4-6 round lead through the "economy snowball" effect. Live round totals often lag behind this reality.
Read early lane priority in MOBAs. A team dominating early laning phase has a real advantage on first objectives (First Blood, First Turret, First Dragon). If you see one lane collapsing early, those first-objective markets are already in motion.
Comeback mechanics matter in Dota 2 more than LoL. Dota's economy is more forgiving to trailing teams than LoL's is. A team down 15,000 gold in Dota can genuinely come back; the equivalent gap in LoL is almost always terminal.
EA FC live markets punish overreactions. Because matches are only 12-16 minutes total, a goal in the first 5 minutes changes the game state completely. Live prices swing hard on early goals — but a 1-0 lead in a 12-minute half is far from safe.
Regional strength matters. Korean teams (LCK, StarCraft), European teams (LEC LoL, CS2), Chinese teams (LPL LoL, Dota 2), and North American teams (Call of Duty, Rocket League) all have distinctive characteristics. Cross-region matches in international tournaments often surprise the market.
